Welcome to Foxes Piece School and thank you for taking the time to look at our website. I am delighted that you are considering sending your child to our school. Reception Class Allotment Visit
On Wednesday 22nd April Reception Class were invited to the allotments on Newfield Road by Mr Trillow and Mrs Hunter. We talked about vegetables and how they grow. We took a tour of Mr Trillow and Mrs Hunter’s greenhouse and saw all the wonderful things they were growing. To end the visit we all planted a gladioli bulb and these can be seen from
On Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th March some Year 5 children took part in cycle training. The instructors were from Spokes Cycle Instruction and were with the children for 2 days. During this time the children learnt how to do u-turns, signalling and overtaking. On their second day they were taken out onto the roads where they were taught about minor and major roads.
The Easter celebrations have been a great success once again. The Easter hat parade was a wonderful spectacle to behold. The Key Stage Two exhibition had a great deal of entries and the winners were rewarded with certificates and Rosettes.
