Welcome to Foxes Piece School and thank you for taking the time to look at our website. I am delighted that you are considering sending your child to our school. Foxes Piece School provides a happy and caring atmosphere where everyone is encouraged to work to the best of their ability and therefore to achieve their full potential. Staff work hard to develop pupil's self-esteem and self-discipline, so essential to life and to learning. We believe that we have created an atmosphere in which all our pupils feel equally valued.
Year One’s Teddy Bear Picnic
Year One invited their families to join them for a teddy bears picnic on Wednesday 24th September. The children worked hard to make cakes and biscuits for everyone to enjoy and fortunately the rain stopped just in time for us to gather in the Year One outdoor area. The children finished off the picnic with a rendition of We’re Going On a Bear Hunt,
Fire Service Visit
Year 6 were lucky enough to have a visit from the Bucks Fire Service. The children showed off their knowledge of how to keep safe in various scenarios and also learnt a few more facts. They then had a tour of the fire engine. It was a very informative and fun hour.
Year 3 Class Trip
Year 3 went to the Chiltern Open Air Museum and took part in their stone age workshop. They learnt how to make fire, paint and string and a Mesolithic camp from sticks, fabric and animal skins. Then they were archaeologists, finding out about people by digging, searching through ‘rubbish’ from different eras and guessing what people were doing.
