Welcome to Foxes Piece School and thank you for taking the time to look at our website. I am delighted that you are considering sending your child to our school. Foxes Piece School provides a happy and caring atmosphere where everyone is encouraged to work to the best of their ability and therefore to achieve their full potential. Remembrance Day at Foxes Piece
With a special focus on Remembrance, and acknowledging 100 years since WW1 broke out, every child in school made a poppy cross and planted it in our school garden. The focus throughout school has been on Marlow people who gave their lives; the impact war had on local families; memorials and the significance of Remembrance. Year One’s Teddy Bear Picnic
Year One invited their families to join them for a teddy bears picnic on Wednesday 24th September. The children worked hard to make cakes and biscuits for everyone to enjoy and fortunately the rain stopped just in time for us to gather in the Year One outdoor area. The children finished off the picnic with a rendition of We’re Going On a Bear Hunt,
Fire Service Visit
Year 6 were lucky enough to have a visit from the Bucks Fire Service. The children showed off their knowledge of how to keep safe in various scenarios and also learnt a few more facts. They then had a tour of the fire engine. It was a very informative and fun hour.
